Pretty sure I saw Curley Hallman buy a pack of Zig-Zags there once.
Curley is Afroman?

They’d sell us kegs with an LSU ID and class schedule showing we were 18 (easy to alter even back then).

I lived in Kirby Smith in 1982 and there was a place in the bottom I think near the laundromat if I recall correctly ( probably not) that sold snacks and all manner of convenience store stuff. It was called services for the blind or it was run by services for the blind. I graduated from high school with a girl who was working there.

You could get 3 lbs of crawfish and a quart of beer for less than $5. I lived in North Stadium 5th floor with no A/C my first semester. Today's soy boys are too soft to handle something like that.

East side, more like a little diner in 1980. Had a few tables and such. I lived on the 5th floor in the West Stadium dorms. I stopped in there with some friends a few times.

Don't remember the store but remember the gift shop and saw hallmark in there just after he was hired ....
Had an office as a grad student on west side from 87 to 89. Was a sh## hole, cold and hot and amazing number of roaches

So like when it was a dorm except the cold part. They had radiators supplied with hot water/low-quality steam that would warm the place, sometimes too much. Had a guy from Chicago who figured out he could turn the steam all the way up in the bathroom (one per hall, locker room showers, two shower heads, no dividing walls) turn on the hot water for the shower heads, and pour water on the radiators to make it a sauna.

You and me both.
It was really spartan, but I am glad that I did it.

By the time I got to LSU in the early 90's, they dorms were abandoned, but students could still get inside and use the bathrooms. The water was still running. I'd make a quick bathroom stop, then grab a Coke from that store on my way to class.
English teacher was using part of stadium as an office in 91’
I remember the blind guy and quick stop/concessions on east side of stadium.
Not sure when it closed.
