I care because it brainwashes the people that are too lazy to do their own research or think for themselves. Then they share it on social media to the rest of the herd. Sheeple get to vote in elections. It ends up affecting us all.

unfortunately, yes....a whole hell of a lot of people in this world take anything they hear on the tv as truth.
great case would be the channels that push political punditry around the clock. doesn't matter which side they are pushing, people of normal intelligence can tell easily that they are exaggerating to further their message.

The popular media has been dying for a while due to technology and are just hanging on and fighting for their existence. Because of that, they are just one big troll and trigger job to get any attention they can.

The phenomenon of Wal Mart Republicanism is ruining this country. It gets working class,
Middle Class and upper middle class to vote directly against their own self interest based on social wedge issues.
On the other hand, the Democratic Party has simply taken the opposite side on the social issues dictated to them and gotten to the point that whatever beneficial economic polices they have or could have get overshadowed.....and in that area they have changed their platform as well to appeal to certain voters.
The death of this country will be that middle class folks stay divided and don't form their own political party. Oh, they buy into the facade of a megalomaniac billionaire saying he is going to "make America great again"....but i digress.

I truly don't. Both conservative and liberal outlets have obvious slants so I don't pay attention to either.
I do notice that they don't even practice real journalism anymore. They report on an event in a simple format then copy outlandish responses from twitter. Pretty lame.
