I show up at church now teaching Jr. Highers and the girls who invited me pull me to the side and tell me that she's been spreading that she came over sad about Mr. mcsuicide pants and i trick her into sleeping with me. she describes the inside of my room (where she's never been) to the girls. They say she made it sound a little rapey. They all believe me, but she's borderline screaming rape and that spreads throughout the church. This was back in the day before everybody believed it the second they heard it and hung the guy before he had a chance. Fortunately it got squashed pretty quick. Nobody believed her and Chick left the church after that and got into drugs. Haven't honestly thought about her till this thread.

A friend of mine freshman year in college had a girlfriend who got pregnant. She basically made him get engaged, quit school, and get a job to support them.

It ended up not being his and she knew it. He just had family money and the real baby daddy didn't. We've lost touch over the years because he came back to school later on and had a new group of friends younger than us.

Forgot how he found out, but I do know she intentionally lied and tried to ruin his life.

this was late 90s early 2000s timeframe. i'm pretty sure if that situation happened today i'd have been in cuffs.

I haven't seen Gone Girl yet either, but I had a crazy Amy all right.

After my divorce it took a while for me to get back in the dating scene, and when I did I was really a fish out of water. This would be my downfall.

I met this girl named Amy who was 14 years younger than me. She was blond, skinny, long legs, big boobs, and wild. We started dating and it was a rush. After 4 or 5 dates, she tells me there's something she's been hiding from me because she is afraid that when she tells me I'll leave her.

I say, what is it? I'm a standup guy, what could be so bad?

She tells me that she has inoperable, terminal brain cancer. shite. What do I do with this? I like her, I enjoy dating her so far, I can't just bail on her because she has an expiration date.

I tell her that doesn't scare me off, we'll enjoy the time we have.

We continue to date, and now cancer becomes a central theme of our relationship. There's times she can't see me becasue she's not feeling well. There's her lack of money because her medical bills are so high. There's her subtle manipulation of me, all with cancer looming over my head.

She tells me she was raped when she was in highschool. She tells me her ex, who she has a kid with, still comes around and is abusive to her. She even tells me at one point that she's pregnant but because of her cancer she has to get an abortion.

Through all of it, she continues to manipulate me, becomes controlling, abusive, suspicious of my every move, tries to prevent me from seeing my friends, and even tries to con me in to marrying her.

Something in my confused and overwhelmed mind protected me from ever making the mistake of actually marrying her.

After over a year of hell, I finally had enough and said frick it, I don't care if everyone in our circle of friends now thinks I'm a shithead for dumping the terminally ill cancer girl. I'm out.

She went even more batshit crazy. She accused me of cheating on her, she called me scum of the earth, she said I took advantage of her because she has cancer. It was like nothing I'd ever been through. But I stayed gone.

About 2 months after all that shite went down I ran in to a friend of hers and we started talking. As we compared notes, shite didn't add up. We quickly figured out that it was all lies. Layers and layers of lies.

Her friend confronted her and she admitted that no, she didn't have terminal brain cancer, she has a pyscological illness that causes her to "misrepresent the truth"

The Universe had a big fricking lesson for me in all that, don't date hot young crazy bitches named Amy.
