This might have caused some confusion:

Transgenderism is a mental disorder. In fact, anything where you "identify" as something other than what you actually are is some type of mental disorder.

People will in the future likely look back and laugh at these days when people actually tried to normalize people living in fantasy land.

The main reason is as I'm sure you are aware is the the wage gap is across all career fields. So what you copied and posted doesn't make much sense, there are certain positions were it's simply not feasible to hire all women.

Even if you relate it to a single career field (thus shrinking the gap) the argument still is silly.

Let's say you have some mid-level older misogynistic guy at GM, IBM, Microsoft, Nestle, (or even a much smaller regional company) what the frick does he care about the bottom line? You think he's suddenly gonna hire a bunch of women and then...what? Report to his upper level superiors that he hired women in order to pay them less and save the company money? I mean is that hiring decision going to suddenly increase the stock value or his retirement? All he had to do is hire someone that is competent enough not to cost him his job.

It doesn't make any god damn sense. Hell, that guy might not even be a woman hater, perhaps he just likes working with dudes so he can chat about golf, football and share dirty jokes.

There's many intelligent arguments to put forth to debate the "wage-gap" that's just not one of them. The fact it's always trotted out and people upvote it in droves and must think "Boooom, take that feminiazis" shows that they don't even take the time to actually attempt critical analysis and thoughtful dialogue. They just want an echo chamber where they can confirm their own beliefs and then engage in self-congratulation.

You came into a thread in which the topic was about a societal thing so of course everyone on here assumed you weren't talking just about yourself.

A board (and then the CEO) would just make it a corporate goal to hire women at cheaper prices.

Better than copying and pasting trite shite.

If you got something better to offer than do so. Or if you actually want to rebut what I wrote do that.

The wage gap doesn't exist. I don't feel like copying my previous post. It's the top one on pg 3.

This is something that happens to a person when they are developing inside the mother. Just like gay people, they don't decide to be gay. There are people who develop physically as one sex, but internally (their hormones, etc) they develop as the other sex.

It's not like someone wakes up one day and says "you know what? I think I am going to get my dick removed, replace it with a vagina and then grow some tits". It is one of those things that we (we as in everyone who isn't transgender or whatever) can't understand, but I think a lot of people just assume people make these decisions with no reason to it.

As to whether or not I support it, to be honest, it isn't an issue that I concern myself with. It seems like it should be something pretty simple. If you have a penis, go to the restroom in which everyone else with a penis goes to, if you have a vagina then go to the one everyone else with a vagina, but I don't know why it is a big deal. Let's say a dude identifies as a woman. For that person to go into the men's room might be like, if a woman would go in the men's room. They probably wouldn't feel very comfortable.

Either way, is there really anything to see in a woman's bathroom? They are in a stall, and it isn't like they take off all their clothes to go to the bathroom. In the men's room, if you are at a stall and a dude is right on side of you, you have to look to see his dick. Its not like the restroom is a place people go in and spend a lot of time in.. So that aspect of it is made into a bigger deal than it is.

The trite shite is just simply a simplification of how stupid the "wage gap" myth is. Just because it's copied and pasted doesn't make it untrue. And I didn't see you even attempt to disprove it.

The wage gap takes all professions across the board and puts them in the same category. Just because, on average, women typically choose careers that pay less than the careers that men chose doesn't mean there is a problem with how they are paid.

You acknowledge it exists in your post. Even by stating that women choose to work in fields that pay less, you are stating that a gap does exist. That's not to even address why they may choose those fields. Next, even if you look at a similar position in the same field there's still a 3-5% gap. Again, that's not tackling certain issues such as equal potential of advancement.

More than anything this argument for many people just comes down to politics and disdain for modern radical feminists. Conservatives that hate liberals and have contempt for the people who typically espouse this as a major concern therefore just cry "myth!".

To me, I don't think it's somehow ideologically contradictory why a conservative Republican can't simply admit it is an issue. Dems and Republicans, conservatives and liberals do this thing where if one side takes up a cause the other side just takes up the other side.

I'm rather repulsed by radical SJWs but I don't think this is a "myth"
