Nah.

Point taken into consideration.

My wife can handle a .38 Taurus 85UL revolver just fine. I don't like the little mouse guns. The muzzle flip scares the shite out of me.

Striker fired subcompacts are going to be your best bet for what you're looking for.
I don’t know if that is necessarily true. Many people are antsy about carrying in condition 1. If so, with a pistol you have to rack that slide. With a revolver, you just have to pull the trigger unless it’s single action.

Just giving you some input, toss it if you'd like, no biggie.
As far as that uppity guy, you're talking 40 years of auto upgrades,
there lies my like of a revolver.

I have a small Ruger lightweight revolver that would be perfect for you. It’s a .38 special, 5-shot with Crimson Trace grips, meaning when you grab it all you have to do is put the red dot on them.

If that's the case, then I'd suggest a SA/DA semi-auto. Revolvers are not good for novice shooters.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say that. Revolvers are about as straightforward as it gets. That said, my wife carries a Bersa Thunder 380.

There are a few issues
1. Trigger - DAO triggers take a lot of time and practice to master for accurate shooting
2. Sights - your typical sights on a Saturday night special are going to be very low profile and difficult to use unless you practice a lot
3. Caliber - outside of using rimfire, .380 an 9mm are going to be more controllable than .38, .357, and .44 (some of that will be because of the mechanics of a semi-auto as well)
4. Grip - maintaining a controllable grip on the weapon to reduce recoil on a revolver is more difficult due to the fact you can't get a forward grip on the gun without turning your fingers black.
5. Ammo capacity/reloading - Semi-auto's are superior in pretty much every way when it comes to ammo capacity and efficiency of reloading

You'd have to throw a wheel gun into concrete hard to mess with it.
Autos are great, I have many, you just have more potential issues that you'd
rather not deal with in a bang bang situation.
Again, good luck.

They are straightforward, but require a greater amount of skill for proficiency

So you're fingers are gonna turn black from boring how many rounds?

That does look the North American Arms 22short. If you like a revolver you should carry a 38 special in your car.
Why wouldn't you use the North American Arms 22 Magnum Sidewinder as your conceal carry? The single action makes it safe for pocket or purse. You can carry wearing a pair of shorts and no one will have any idea.
I know you don't like non-revolvers but I do like NAA's Guardian 32 ACP. Besides being damn stylish, pretty lightweight as well.
Both are of course for close quarters.

If you're set on a small revolver (like my lady is) I would at least check out the S&W airweight 38, it's more accurate than I expected.

Tell you what, put your fingers in front of the cylinder while shooting a revolver and get back with me
(I learned that lesson the hard way)

I do but it is not what I conceal carry.
Would prefer to conceal carry my Colt but no where to hide....:-(
