Does anyone here have a Derringer or fired one?

Have 3 guns. 2 for the home and one I carry in the car. Just got my concealed weapons permit and trying to decide on whether I should purchase and carry another 22 or a Derringer. Not looking to carry a heavy gun and I don't like pistols. I prefer revolvers.
Anyone ever own a Derringer or fired one? What do you think of the gun?
Would you think a Derringer is a little more powerful than a 22 or no? Looking for serious opinions.TIA

I have a cop II that my grandpa gave me.

If you like revolvers and don’t want a heavy gun go buy an airweight .38 S&W

What caliber is a derringer? How many options? Anything bigger than a 22 is going to come alive in your hand. A .380 ACP is an angry little bastard when shot, a derringer would be worse.

I'm about to retire having my go to .45 auto under my seat to a Keltec .22 auto mag. It's
not ultra small but it is a great deal smaller than the .45. I'm a big proponent of the damage a 22 mag hollow point can do.

Hi-Standard made or may still make a derringer in .22 Magnum. It was trim and featured a nice long trigger pull. (no safety). Used to keep one in my boot if going to New Orleans.
