If you can find a .22 in mag that you like, then yes, that's what you want. IMO.

There is a .22Mag Critical Defense round out now that is badass. It’s a hollow point with a rubber plug in it. Keeps the round clean and provides for better expansion. 45 Grains. It’s a gut gun or shove it in the targets chest or head.

It's already 20 pounds. You can fool these people, but you aren't fooling me.
You hungry? Let's say we go get a bite to eat.

Yep, had a buddy shoot his BIL in the hand with one. No guns in hand while I'm near him, just sayin'.

No, its not. Im not the kind of woman that carries heavy. And your married, if your wife knew you are hitting on me she would kick your arse. LOL!!!

CC a .22? Don’t post that shite on the OB.

Why would you carry a .22?
Small and easy concealment. Now if a mother effer wants to break down my front door then he will face my .357.

Thinking the Derringer is for up close range.

I'm like everyone else, hard to put your hands on(unless it has it's own pocket, my cousins does), only two shots, might not need more. Not a fan of the open trigger.

I’ve never used one like that. Meaning with a hammer. The Hi - Standard one has no visible hammer , just a long two finger trigger with a long pull. I didn’t have to cock it,just squeeze the trigger. It’s looks like the one you are looking at will suit your purposes as a purse gun. What is the price on it?

Yes I have one

What do you think of the gun?
For self defense no way would I carry it.

Hi-Standard made or may still make a derringer in .22 Magnum
Yup, this is what I have
My bride carries a Ruger LC9S PRO, not heavy and goes bang.

I think I am kind of agreeing with you. Dont need to be searching for a gun in my purse with no safety but at the same time if the a-hole has control, I need to fire quickly without thinking about a safety.

Didn't think of this one. Will definitely check on it. Thanks!

Had one, Cobra in.38 SPC. The triggers are very heavy and you have to get used to rolling it more than pulling it straight back. Makes being even remotely accurate difficult without practice and practicing is not at all fun. Bond Arms are much better but they cost considerable more and it's still a very heavy trigger pull. They are meant to be that way though, all the weight of a big DA trigger pull but virtually no travel.

She should look at the .380 or small 9mm ‘s. A derringer is a completely last resort weapon. Commonly carried in the boot as a backup gun in case you are disarmed. Maybe they miss the one in the boot and then you can use it to save your arse.

About $130.00
