We generally put up the day after Thanksgiving, but sometimes we'll put up the Saturday/Sunday before if it's our turn to host things for Thanksgiving.

And Cosmo is right. Wait until the first Sunday of Advent. But I will not hold it against you. There is so much joy in the house because for the first time this year, Mother breathed the words Front Day. She has not called it yet, but 11 days from now there may be a big celebration at our home.

Who in the takes their tree down? What kind of a barbarian are you? Mine stays up 365. In December it is a Christmas tree, then it becomes a Mardi Gras tree, then a Easter tree and then 4th of July tree, then a LSU football Tree then back to a Christmas tree.

We’re putting up our 2025 tree now, next to the 2024 tree.
We lapped a year already, so for a time, we have 2 trees.
