It's actually for the same front and windshield design as the Honda Pilot.

that doesn't look like a van! If anything it's a sport truck. It's even got a square hole on the back bumper for hooking up a bike rack. I can smell your jealousy through the computer screen. what do you drive? a sedan?

It's a pilot with a bead instead of a cargo area

Eh, it's nice for lugging things around, has a trunk, has plenty of seating. It's a Honda, so I've had minimal maintenance on it for as many miles I have on it. It's gotten me through the snow.
No complaints. I don't do any heavy hauling. Prolly suits 75% of "truck" driver's needs.
I would consider getting a Ridgeline again. Don't know if I care for the new body style. I would also consider a tacoma. I don't really need a truck much larger.

My old man got one the first year they came out. The damn thing has not been in the shop for a single thing. Not a single thing has broken. It has just a hair under 200,000 and it drives like new, not even the slightest rattle. He has about 12 acres and tows his tractor and garden dirt and hay and crap like that.
Extremely solid vehicle. Personally not a fan of the styling.

Honda Ridgeline wins 2017 truck of the year

The Ridgeline beat out the other finalists – the new aluminum-bodied Ford SuperDuty truck and the light-duty version of the Nissan Titan pickup.

I prefer the previous generation.

Saw a messican driving one that was beat to hell the other day.

You can't polish that turd with Honda reliability. It's ugly as hell

They sold 24,000 of them last year
Up from a whopping 520 units in 2015.

I've seen about a dozen of them driven by lesbians.

I had the 2005 that I drove for 11 yrs, had a few problems at the end. Now own a new one and it's perfect for me. Rides like a car and does light to med truck stuff. It's a Honda, they just work. Every truck owner that rides with me is amazed at the ride.

The old model was hideous. The new ones look good.

Well, if it tells you anything, my mom is thinking of replacing both her 1988 F-150 and 2010 Jetta TDI wagon with one. VW's making it worth her while to sell her Jetta back to them next year (she's going to wait as long as possible) and the old F-150 isn't getting better gas mileage (5.0) any time soon.
I'll miss that old truck if she does get a Ridgeline, though.

You couldn't pay me to drive that trash

One of the last things I would think about before purchasing a car is how "beta" or "alpha" it made me look. .
Although, its not like I'd go out and buy a vehicle thats painted pink with flower rims or anything.
