NFL Sunday Ticket Max is usually not given away free.

i got it for free. said i wasn't getting the bang for my buck. When they threw the regular nfl sunday ticket at me I said thats great and all but I watch my local teams, id rather just have red zone. There was no way to do that so she talked to the manager and just gave me the max. This was along with some monthly credits. I called again after the fox 8 crap trying to get the off air tuner but they wouldn't do it so gave me all movie channels for free for 3 months

That's why I said usually. Some get it for free, but they will usually throw the first tier Sunday Ticket out first.

red zone.

That's what I want. I wish they would separate the channels of Sunday Ticket to only the team you want to watch and pay only for that w/redzone. Like a Patriots/Redzone package.

I've had it 4 years. Paid for 2. One year for like $100 and this year free. I'm a 10 year customer and have the highest tier of programming and I can't seem to get the deals that some claim

I called a couple of weeks ago and told them that the only reason I was with directv was for Sunday Ticket. Told their retention department that Comcast was offering to buy out my contract, which wasn't true, and that I could get TV and Internet for cheaper through them. I asked if they could give me an offer on Sunday Ticket that would keep me from switching. Ended the phone call with Sunday Ticket Max for free and 20 bucks off my bill for the next year. They said right now they are offering Sunday Ticket Max for half price and just have me a credit for the other half.

I was really surprised how easy it went. I just started my second year with directv.
