Does anybody else find haggling to be trashy?

It's what something's worth, not what you can get someone to pay for it.
Haggling is an attribute of third world marketplaces. Imagine going to Albertsons or Walmart with a basket of 50 items and having to negotiate with a cashier for every f****** item.
If you want to sell something put a price and if nobody wants it then you drop the price, If you want to buy something you say how much you want to pay for it. There should be no change by either a seller or a buyer.

It’s worth what you’ll pay for it bro.
Now the price just went up

At a market with set price? Trashy.
Where haggling can happen, nope.

Right, because deals are never made in the first world.
I mean you just have no concept of sales do you? I’m not talking about a supermarket where the cashier has no authority over price but...retail is for suckers.

Haggling makes buying a car at a dealership a miserable experience, and this is why Carvana and other car sales companies are soon to eliminate car dealerships.

Apparently not, but people who pay sticker for high ticket goods allow the rest of us to save a lot of money, so I'm okay with it.

Depends, you gonna pay 100k for a Honda civic?

Where does haggling happen? If you had a fruit stand or a clothing store or an electronics store.... You would just have "negotiate with me" as the price?
Get on craigslist and you want to sell your your 10-year-old couch that you paid $1,000 for $900 (because it's "like new") That's fine.... But then don't drop it and say how about 800, okay I'll do 650...$500 final.
A 10-year-old couch is worth zero to pretty much everybody else, give or throw that s*** the f*** away.
My anger comes from a parking space that a guy hasn't been using in 2 years. I asked him what he wanted for it He said $800 a month. I said no. Then he says $400, I say no, 300, no thank you, $200.
Screw you, I would have paid $300 but I don't want to deal with the scumbag, and he's now upset that I won't take it for $200, saying that I want it for free.
I find haggling distasteful and don't ever want to do business with a piece of f****** s*** who would haggle.

Yup. Or he’s probably used to little peon deals where it’s just an insult to the salesman.
You have to come to the bazaar with enough coin to negotiate.
Oh, one unit costs this much? Okay, how about 5? How about 10? How about 50? 100? 500?
It’s a dance, you play the merchant’s game.

You've got more issues than your distaste for haggling.
And it is dickering, ya cocksucker!

So you feel intimidated by car salesmen.
I’ll haggle when it’s worth my time. For the overwhelming majority of my purchases, it is not.

Everywhere men of means have products that are in demand.

If you’re buying an apple? No.
If you’re buying a bag of apples? Maybe. A case? Sure? A pallet? Now we’re talking.

I mean, you have a point, up to a point, but...sales is sales. If you have something someone wants, you negotiate until you have a deal. That’s business.
