I can’t imaging there are that many surgeons who can make penises and remove vaginas. The patient probably made the waiting list for those wanting the procedure much longer.

If this happened in the US the reasoning would be clear. The person wanted a big payday. The Brits’ culture is becoming more and more like ours. To paraphrase an old axiom: The man wanted to have his pussy and eat it, too.
