Are they claiming that the risks are only when HPV or other STD is involved?

My older brother got throat cancer from the HPV virus.
He never smoked, never drank, and was a workout freak
He had 7 weeks of chemo. Then they gave him a one month break. They put a feeding tube in. Then he had 7 weeks of chemo and radiation combined. Very aggressive treatment.
After all the chemo and radiation he was down to 180 pounds. He benched 300 pounds with the feeding tube still in his stomach. He wanted to show the guys at the gym he could still bench that much.
Cancer was "cured". About 2½ years later he couldn't get on his tractor. Not enough strength to pull himself up on it.
They ran a bunch of tests and immediately hospitalized him.He had MDS from the aggressive chemo and radiation.

Statistically, today she's correct. HPV is running rampant today.
Buddy of mine just went through 6 months of chemo and radiation because of throat cancer that was HPV in origine.
Fortunately, this form of cancer has a high success rate with a cure.

Yea I think pretty much the only way to avoid HPV is if you only have one partner and your partner has only been with you. It’s that common, think I read statistically if you have had 3 partners you have a 95% chance of having HPV.
It’s also not a big deal at all. Vast majority never show symptoms at all and your immune system will clear the virus naturally
