Usually towards the hottest part of the day I will leave a sleeveless workout shirt on by the pool. They're thin and light and helps keep the sunburn away. I won't try to swim with one on, but if we're just hanging out drinking beer in the pool, I might leave it on since it is just the bottom of it getting wet, and they dry pretty quickly.

If a "rash guard" counts at the beach since I'm usually surfing when I get the chance. It's very unwise and painful to paddle out to the line all day without a t-shirt or rash guard while your chest is on a board coated with wax and sand. (Ask me how I learned this lesson.)

And the super-fats. Nobody wants to see them without a shirt.

I love my swimming shirts that have built in SPF. I hate putting on sunscreen and it is a quick solution.

I do, but it's only because I learned a hard HARD lesson when I was a kid. I was out fishing on Big Lake/Turner's Bay all day without a shirt on a Saturday and we went back on Sunday and did the same. Even with suntan lotion I burned....BAD. Like a burn on top of a burn. Mom (a nurse) got some burn cream from a Dr. and used a loufa to scrub off the dead skin. A pain I will never forget. Even today some 30 plus years later, that skin will never tan. Freckle, but not tan. No hair grows there...across my shoulders and down my arms where a short sleeve shirt ends. It's all scar tissue essentially. I never want to do that again. So I use rash guards like I use when I'm scuba diving when I'm out in the sun...fishing/swimming/cutting grass....they work great.

Dat be me. My transplant meds also make me more susceptible to skin cancers so I rather not fool with that.

This is me. If I'm going to be in the sun all day at the pool, by the afternoon I'd just put on a long sleeve t-shirt. I can only re-apply sunscreen so many times before it gets old.

I do but I’ve had skin cancer. I’m old also (58) not in great shape but still a lot better than a lot of men half my age.

Only when it is blazing hot because I will catch fire. True story, last year my lips got so sunburned one day that they cracked and bled for 5 days. I hate the fricking beach.

For leisure, I wear a bikini

And when I swam for a race I would wear a tight jersey and bike shorts
