Sometimes I do, a lot of times I don't. Never got crabs yet.

Most of them, unless they're hand-wash or dry-clean only like dresses or skirts. Underwear & bras definitely.

But I'm with the above poster who says he wears socks straight off the shelf--I actually like brand new socks straight out of the package. I guess I don't mind because the way they're folded and packaged you can tell nobody has worn them. Yes, I know I'm weird.

Ideally, yes but, it doesn't always work out that way

Yes, or have them cleaned depending on the item.

Always.

They're just about all made in some overseas country with a bunch of greasy little paws all over them. I think I'll wash all that off.

Why would you wash clothes that are not even dirty yet?

Lots of fabrics are spreyed with silicone and other such shite to make them feel soft in the store....I always wash all of that off before using.

Why??? I have never done this regularly and have absolutely never gotten a rash, sickness, disease, had my clothes smell bad, had anyone think they were dirty, had them feel dirty while wearing them, etc. So, what's the point? Is it just to make you feel better? I mean I'm the kind of guy that has to wash his hands if he walks too close to a public bathroom, but this is just kind of dumb.
