Do you use in flight WIFI on vacation flights?

I've only ever done it once when it was complementary. It was extremely slow and I wouldn't ever pay for it even on an international flight.
I understand people using it for business, but I really don't see the point in needing to surf the web on a plane on the way to or from vacation.

Breeders cup is 2 days. I had to fly out Friday the year I went so I watched all the Friday races on the flight. Worked fine.

Yes. Especially on long flights. Slow internet >> no internet, when it comes to killing time.

You were able to stream?
Maybe mine was slow because it was free or maybe it was bad a few years ago.

I will use if it's complimentary.
I would only pay if they didn't block streaming from Netflix/HBO. But for now, they block those services.

If you fly United and have the app you can steam a ton of movies and tv shows on their app for free. Does not include general internet browsing though.

My recurring work account handles the expense just fine.
