Me and my friends grew up in this mile triangle.

Good God at the things we did that would have landed us in trouble.

Thankfully one dad was a trooper and the other was probation officer for juvies.

We didn't get cover we just had to be very careful.

And my god when we got caught.

When I was a kid there was an elderly couple a few houses down that knew my mom when she was a kid, and me and my sister would randomly show up at their door to hang out and play checkers and stuff.

They enjoyed it unlike your grumpy arse, they'd make us snacks and try to get us to stay for dinner

This is the America I want back. I feel like this doesn’t happen much anymore.

I'd signup for a pre-internet era Village.

We are blessed to have great neighbors with two young children, 3 & 1. Our youngest is 17, so I no longer have the joy of coming home to little kids hugging their dad after missing them all day. These little ones are at our house all the time (3-4 days a week). The older one comes over by herself to play. I have absolutely no complaints. Little children are so sweet and are always glad to see me.

OP, enjoy it. Don't be an arse.

BTW, my 17-year-old has a friend who lives with his grandmother because his parents kicked him out of their respective homes (there was some child abuse issues there as well by the stepfather). He is welcome into our home anytime and came over for our family Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday.

I can only wish my neighbor’s daughter would show up at my door.

Cute little 10-year-old girl knocked on the door of our new house and wanted to know if we had kids. Said no, just puppies. Wound up hiring her to walk them daily. Worked out really well.

Are you treating them like Jehovah's Witnesses and answering naked? If so, it's weird you pedophile.
