Do you think it’s important to be a “good sport“?

How do you handle your losses? Do you show good sportsmanship or do you act like a spoiled child? I don’t have to tell you which one I am. Steve Spurrier one sad “you show me a good loser and I’ll show you someone who loses a lot“.

I think it's important to be a good sport in the workplace. Like when someone tells a hilarious joke, do you go running to HR to get them in trouble, or are you a good sport?

You didn’t deny it. So there’s that.

Losing with class and being okay with losing are not the same.
If I lose I'm not gonna cry like a bitch but I'm gonna go harder next time and beat some arse.

Yes, it is important to me.
I bust my arse to be accountable and put my self forward, and I will notice if people around me shirk.

Will Muschamp has no idea what you are talking about.

When I lose I scheme to appoint a Special Counsel to destroy everyone who has ever said anything deemed neutral or favorable about the opponent. Scorched earth and cutting off my nose to spite my face is not enough! Total global annihilation is barely adequate to punish my rival.

Sometimes your opponents are just better than you. Better to be a good sport. Maybe you’ll get them next time!

It's easier once you've had them framed, arrested, and assassinated.

Handle the loss with grace. Be pissed later, in private.

That’s the problem today no one is a winner and no one is a loser; everyone gets a trophy

I hate it when someone is better than me at something. I also hate that not being happy for the person that beat you is considered unsportsmanlike or childish.

I think it’s important to downvote every shitty arse thread you start.

i think if we look at the root of this phrase, what it basically means is don’t be a fricking a-hole. So yes, I agree.
