My 130W Peavey guitar amp. Bought it used from a friend around 1984 and it’s still rockin’ - and still on the original tubes.

1865 Seth Thomas railroad clock. Built the year Lincoln was shot.

Wind it every Saturday, but does not stop if electricity goes out.

The oldest thing in the house is a planter from the 1870s. But it holds a plant (not the original one). The fact that my 4 kids havent broken it is short of a miracle.

My oldest electronic device still working in the house is a corded phone/answering machine. About 16 years old.

Everything else craps out (clocks, tvs, computers/wireless phones, appliances). We can usually fix the appliances. But everything else hits the trash heap.

I have a Toro electric leaf blower from before Katrina that’s been hit by a a car and made it through 3 or 4 moves. That thing should have been toast at least a decade ago.

I bought my push mower in 2003. It was underwater for 3 days during the Katrina flooding.
After the storm I pulled the spark plug and cleared the water from the cylinder, put in a new spark plug, emptied and refilled the gas tank, and lightly sanded the magneto.
Still using the mower this year.

Black and Decker electric knife. Filleted redfish with that ting for the last 20 years. I've had it so hot I had to quit and let it cool off so I could hold it. Still going.

When we sold my grandparents' house about 5 years ago there was a magenta Philco window unit that they bought used in about 1965. Still ran, got ice cold.
No knobs or thermostat, just an on/off switch.
I really wanted to donate it the Smithsonian but my parents gave it to a day laborer cleaning the place out

Your not going to believe me. But I have a working copy of pokemon Red, Yellow, and Crystal version.

The timer clocks were supposed to have stopped and the games dysfunctional as a result. But they still work.

You should post this on the poli board and see if you can break the record for downvotes.

I've still got my Grandparents AM/FM GE radio that I listened to Football games in the 70's on.

It's almost as old as I am,and may be.
