Not anymore unless you just don't want to switch. I have SimpliSafe and installed it myself. It's monitored and everything for like $12 per month with no contract

Yes but only because internet and cable was cheaper if I had a landline. The bundle is odd.

Yeah we do. Cell service in our area sucks. So for call quality I keep one. its bundled with our cable service and internet.
