Ugh, I live in an apartment complex and my neighbor does make up for movies. Which is pretty cool, but she's in her mid to late 40's and anytime she sees me, she always needs my help bringing shite to her car. She'll pay me which is nice but it's literally EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

I have become good friends with one of my neighbors to the point where we watch LSU games together. My other neighbor is always inviting me to his Bible study and stuff and often sneaks up on me while I'm playing with my daughter in the back yard. Kind of creepy, but he has a daughter that's the same age so I'm assuming he wants them to become friends.

The only time Ive had a conversation with my neighbors is when they moved in. My neighborhood was recently built, so when i moved in, i put up a fence. When they moved in, they came over and asked if they can piggy back off my fence because they only needed 2/3 sides since I already put up one side for them. They even offered me money. I told them, no thanks. It was enough that they asked and offered money.

The only neighbors I have are some cows in a pasture next door. Sometimes when I'm outside I'll yell "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" just to see if they'll look over at me.

I moved into a new house a month ago. Not one neighbor came by to say hello. I ended up walking over yesterday and introducing myself. They turned out to be real cool people and they are having a BBQ for me and the wife with other neighbors to welcome us to the hood.

He parks in cop car in his goddamn yard. Seriously. It's just a massive mud hole right now. He hasn't trimmed the hedges in front of his house in 2 years. They will be over the house this summer. I have to go blow off the sidewalk in front of his house because I get tired of walking over 6 inches of leaves when me and the family go for a walk.

My neighbor is 99 and she's cool as shite. I'll talk to her if I see her outside. The wife has a couple friends down the street with kids so they'll go to the park and all that.

There's weeks where I don't even see mine. Only one we ever were really friends with was a few houses down. But they don't speak since I had his live in cousin arrested for trying to steal my motorcycle. Lol

I speak to some of my neighbors but not all of them. The ones on one side I hang out with about once every month or so. The ones on the otherside I never talk to unless it's to complain about them having a party at 2:00am on a given Wednesday.
The neighbors across the street I've spoke to a few times. They're pretty friendly.

I have lived in my house for 5.5 years. My neighbor introduced himself in year 1. For the last 5.4 years I have been trying to remember his name.

When I lived in BR there was a lady a few houses down in her late 90s. She was still fairly mobile and was really sharp mentally. Her husband fought in WWII and had died like 30 or 40 years ago.
I went in her house once and it was full of antique furniture, paintings, and knick knacks. Everything had a price tag on it. She had a lady that would schedule appointments for people to come in and look at everything and buy stuff... like an estate sale only the homeowner was still alive.
There was also a small wooden home in her backyard. It was an old family house that had been moved to her backyard years ago. It was full of antiques as well. That lady probably had a lot of money laying around in "stuff".

You better be smiling when you are doing that, punk.

All my neighbors are trashy AF so I try not too.

No, but I don't like people. I mean, I'm not antisocial, but I'm not one to small talk about the weather at all. I'll talk to you if there's a common interest. But not if that common interest is that we just live in the same area.

Only to tell them to get off my lawn

Yes. Friends with them all. In the Spring time it's damn near a block party every evening.
