I guarantee you a large percentage of people that lived in that time, thought that things used to be much better.

There are flaws with every generation..

Things only look horrendous now because we have corrupt news. Back in the day, most of the bullshite never got around. Someone gets murdered on the other side of the world, nobody really knew.

Nowadays you get info in the same amount of time it takes for piss to drop.
