We have 3 box fans in our room. I’ll repeat, 3 of them. My gf (no pics) is cray cray.

I sleep with one of those Honeywell tornado fans at home and usually take a 6" usb powered fan on the road. I've used battery backups to run it when the power goes out.

used to sleep with just the ceiling fan on, then had to hook up a portable unit when AC was out and will never go back. the white noise is necessary

Just added a box fan with the ceiling fan. My ceiling fans are on 24/7 year round.
I use to like silence but the fan noise is a bit soothing.
