My mom believes that every time she finds a penny heads up on the ground it’s her father saying hello from Heaven. They used to pick them up together when she was growing up and she’s done this since he died when she was 16.

When I was a kid I worked at Wal-Mart and Sam came to visit the store. I saw him bend over and pick up a penny. It’s not because of him but yes I do pick up change.

Always, but my best find was a $500 casino chip at Jazzfest a few yrs ago. I joined my buddy in line to get a beer, we got to the front and I looked down and saw the purple chip and I think to myself I know what that is. I grabbed that shite stat and started rooting around like a truffle pig looking for more, but unfortunately that was it. Oh well, still a great score.
