Do you let your kids "win" at games/sports/etc?

Call me heartless but I don't let them win. I will give them an advantages in some respect but don't lose intentionally. Obviously at a certain age, probably like 8 or younger, I don't see a problem with letting a kid win but for those with older kids 10+....I think it's important to not let them win just to make them feel good about themselves.
EX: son and I playing basketball. I have to shoot behind a certain line and I can't jump to block his shots (although I do this time to time and wag my finger at him like Mutumbo just for shits n giggles). He doesn't like playing defense at times and Ill just take my shot and sink it and beat him. I just tell him you will never get ahead with that lazy arse attitude. Gotta go out there and take what you want.
Looking back do you think your parents let you win at things?

Nah, I crush them mercilessly every time. Also, I underfeed them to keep them hungry for victory. You'll get dessert when you are a winner!

Sometimes I let them get the fish all the way to the boat before I cut their line.

When my sons were growing up and we'd do batting practice, I always threw full speed. They never could hit a slider. Bean balls were fun too.

You ever seen Rushmore? The scene where Bill Murray is on his cell phone and walking by some kids playing basketball, he doesn't break stride and rejects the shite out of one of the kid's shot. That's how I treat sports with my 3 month old son, no holds barred

I let kids in the family win one game of basketball or RocketLeague, and then I bring on the full force of my mighty power to let them know that the world ain't fair.
