What about the mayor requiring all housing developers to take on affordable housing? Do you care about the proliferation of section 8 in new condos and apartment complexes?

This is just people being ignorant.

I have a much larger issue with the way that Baton Rouge and New Orleans are run, than "California".

I moved to San Diego in March and it's probably the best move I've ever made. Born and raised in the Nola area. Couldn't stand living there anymore... crime, corruption, shite weather, same shite different day. In the past few years I've had friends leave Nola and they all said they should have moved out sooner. I feel the same way.

Why not ? Is there a history of this council voting down proposals of this nature?

I'm not really speaking about regular campaign dirt, I think Cantrell will play up Charbonnet to be an Uncle Tom esque "pro business"-lol candidate which will force Charbonnet to turn further left to appease the ignorant masses.

I don't think it has been implemented to any major degree or will be implemented.

Also, there aren't many apartment complexes in New Orleans. I can count the new ones being built on one hand. It is a non-issue.

The main focus of her platform is crime. Whether she is able to implement that platform is another matter, but she seems more qualified than any past mayor to make a change.

Are any of those likely to vote against Charbonnet's proposals? Looks like at least 3 Democrats to me
