True, but I was 28 at the time. Not only that, but in this transaction the Chief Warrant Officer got to bang my 24 year old wife, while I got to bang his mid-40 year old wife. Not really a trade I would be into

There's a swingers' community in a suburb north of Phoenix called Anthem and those into the lifestyle pile purple rocks in the shape of a pyramid in their front yard to signal to others they are swingers. Creepy shite.

We would typically meet for drinks with new couples to feel out the chemistry and probably half of the couples were like this. One (usually the husband) was super into it and the other would be clearly just going along with it. We never took it past drinks with those.
If both of you are not confident, secure, and into it you should stay far away from 'the lifestyle'. It takes both of you being on the level to work and the last thing it's going to do is repair a broken relationship.

I don't personally know anyone but highly recommend "Life on the swing set" (a podcast) for anyone that is interested in learning more about swinging and the lifestyle
