The youngest of the two younger brothers...who are both taller than Scruffy.

I knew a guy that got a job offer in the fall of his senior year and didnt go back for the spring semester. They never checked.

I hired a guy, and two days before his start date our HR office let me know they hadn't been able to confirm his degree. It took another couple of months to fill the position with someone who didn't lie on their application.

Excluding high school, I have three of them. They're framed and boxed up somewhere. They stayed at my parents' house until the last move. Unless you're a doctor (medical one), no need for a vanity wall.

I do have etchings from Senior Walk because it's a cool tradition, but they are in a inconspicuous place.

My undergrad degree is framed and in my office. I have it on a bookshelf with other company awards, pictures, LSU & Saints stuff, etc.

So it’s not showcased on a wall but I have it among things that are important to me.

I honestly don't know where it is. My LA CPA is up, and I'd put my CO one up but I accidentally got a chocolate stain on it.

No, but I do have my certificate showing the point in latitude/longitude where I crossed the equator while serving in the Navy. As an added bonus, the glass in the frame was cracked by a sonic boom when the space shuttle flew over in the area in the early 90's. It seems trashy not to replace the glass, but I think it is kind of cool so I just left it as is.

I used to hang them up but they just take up so much space on the walls.

They are laying in the basement now.

Makes me wonder how many people get away with lying about a degree on their resumé

Do any employers verify that an applicant is a high school graduate?

If you are a 10th grade drop out and apply for a job at Burger King, Target, or the car wash, can you get away with lying and claiming to be a HS graduate?

Asking for a dumb relative who will probably drop out soon and need a job.

Our HS shrunk and laminated tiny diplomas which were the size of a driver's license.

Not mine, but similar to this:
