Yeah. I can't take anti depressants
But I called him today to put me on a heavy dose of abilify. If he doesn't prescribe it today I'll probably cry. But it has the side effect at first of making me not be able to sleep for about a week

In all seriousness, sign up for a marathon and start training, after some of those training runs, you'll never have felt so tired.

Do you spend a lot of time on your phone or a laptop or watching tv before bedtime?
If so, stop this. It's not this way for everyone, of course, but those devices stimulate your brain like nothing else and it takes a while to settle. Also limit caffeine, if you drink coffee and cokes and what not.

Yeah I usually play on my phone laying in bed. I rarely drink caffiene.

After a day you won't notice it's even on anymore. And yeah limit caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine before bed. I can't sleep if I drink coffee after 1-2 in the afternoon.

Put the phone down an hour or so before sleepy time. Just chill in you environment and do whatever you need to do to relax -- shower, yoga, fapping, whatever...
I had trouble falling asleep a couple of years ago -- I stopped goofing on my phone at all hours and after a couple of days, I was falling asleep quickly.
Works for me...maybe not for everyone though. Good luck.

I have this issue and found a few things work:
1. Don’t do anything in bed besides humping and sleeping. Watching TV or playing on your phone/computer in bed can train the body that the bed isn’t for sleep. This sounds worthless but it helps.
2. Don’t drink caffeine past lunch. This one is self-explanatory.
3. Cardio. And lots of it. Whenever I go for a run right after work, by the time I shower and finish eating dinner, I’m exhausted.
4. Read. If you read right after dinner your mind will start to fall asleep.
5. Meditation. This might be my favorite besides getting fricked up. Shut your eyes, sit straight up in silence, take a deep breath in, hold for 3 seconds, exhale, hold again for 3 seconds. Repeat this 100 times counting down to 1. This relaxes the shite out of me.
6. And finally, a combination of meds if you need to. If I drink some scotch, take melatonin, and take some Benadryl (or ambien, etc.) I am in a coma. Weed also is a godsend (indica, not sativa), but I understand not everyone is open to that option.
