My grandfather already did pawn it once and my grandmother went to the pawnshop and got it back, I’ve already been told I’m not allowed to sell it.

not anything worth any money if that’s what you’re asking.

but i have a small gold cross pin that probably cost less than $5 at any store that sells religious items that i consider priceless.

when i was in 5th grade or so i committed 3 errors in a baseball game.
my grandfather (not a big baseball fan, but often went to my games) told me he could “fix” my glove and took it home with him that night.
next day he brought it back to me with that cross pinned to it. Said he’d had it blessed a few years before and it never let him down.

next game was error free, and i even made couple plays that was above my typical talent level.

that pin has now been on every glove i’ve owned since then.

grandfather died a few years later and i quit playing organized ball in my mid 30’s.
but i’d rub my thumb across that pin before every game from sometime after his death in ‘94 until i quit playing in 2013 or so.

last glove i owned is picked up with cross still on it.

one day when situation is right, i’ll pass it to one of my sons (or a grandson maybe)

Yes. I have my grandmother's engagement ring and also her Eastern Star ring. My sister has my mom's wedding rings and her watch.

My brother has our deceased father's wedding ring.

Poor as I am I do have a few things I consider priceless.

A shite-ton of old guns. A vintage coke machine that was my grandfathers in the 40's or 50's
