Very sorry to hear about your personal struggle. I don't know your age, but humans have demonstrated an incredible ability to roll with the punches and come out better on the other side. It might take a long time though. My best advice is to know that you are certainly capable of moving on and doing great things in your life. So to get yourself through the darkness, you need to pick something that makes you excited to get out of bed every morning and dedicate yourself to it. The mere act of putting two feet on the ground every morning and getting up will go a long way. Good luck.

You nee to seek help my friend. Very sorry for what you experienced. For what it's worth, you did the right thing by going to get your friend. You're a true friend for doing that instead of letting him drive drunk.

Can't think like this. I know that feels like an impossible task, but survivor's guilt can be unbearable at times.

That's exactly what it was...an accident. When you feel down like this, you need to look in the mirror and remind yourself that this is not your fault. It was an accident.

It was a fairly recent accident that could have seriously injured or killed you as well. I know your friends, loved ones, coworkers, and a lot of TD posters here are glad that didn't happen.

I suggest that you keep trying to engage with a reputable professional. Keep trying and don't give up just because you don't see results right away. It will eventually get better.

Good luck to you.
