I try to take in/put out as appropriate, but FWIW, American Legion (interpreting the flag code) claims it is acceptable to fly all-weather flags (nylon) in bad weather and at night, provided the flag is lit.

American flag on memorial day and July 4th. An Auburn flag on game days, but not every game day, just big games.

American Flag in July.

I would fly it more but it's an embroidered flag and I don't want it to get ruined.

I fly the stars and stripes from memorial day to labor day. I fly the Honduran flag for 1 day on the motherland's independence day incase any spaniards drive by
