Yeah, when I was younger I used to hear that NBC theme and think, “Aw crap, I gotta do homework and then get up at 6:00 am for school.” Now though, I don’t really get that feeling as often.

Nope. Work remotely with no official start time, and love what I do.

Wake up without an alarm, check emails in bed, handle anything immediate, sit on the patio with my sweet pup, feed the pets, get ready at my own pace, head to my office worry free knowing there’s nothing super pressing awaiting my arrival ASAP...

I’m 100x more productive than I’d ever be at normal jobs and it’s pretty chill never dealing with traffic.

I've had it since elementary school. I used to lie awake on Sunday nights dreading school the next day.

It’s niche, sorry.

But really more companies are leaning that direction. Worth should never be measured by time your arse is in a chair unless your job is public facing or answering phones:

As a kid the '60 Minutes' shows clock ticking down bummed me out thinking about school and the homework I didn't do.

It’s just a name for what you just said, but using alliteration.

Depends on what I have going on at work. Work has been pretty slow lately, so I’ve been fine. I also work from home, so that helps, too.

I’m getting a little antsy though, hope to have some work travel soon.

ETA: I don’t know if there is a job that I would ever “like”, working from home is the next best thing, I guess.

Do you “literally” read your emails in bed while Jones licks your butt?
