People who still smoke in 2018 are some of the dumbest people alive I believe.

Man, I hope your ego is better, now that you demonized those smokers.

I don’t feel bad for them. I identify with them. Not by smoking because I have never tried a cigarette.

But I am every bit as much addicted to Diet Coke, naked photos of women, and carbs. Most days I do great and say no to the last two but I can’t seen to get away from the Diet Coke.

Addiction is all the same. Stop rationalizing others addictions as worse than yours.

If I could stop all 3, I would do it.

I think it was a Breakfast Club reference about what Bender’s dad said to him one Christmas. Apologies if incorrect.

During my ENT rotation, we had to remove this dude's lower jaw, tongue, and most of his upper airways because of cancer secondary to smoking for 20+ years. He had a permanent tracheotomy and one of those mechanical voice modulators.  It was a monstrosity procedure... I saw the dude a year later outside the hospital smoking through his tracheotomy...

I am neither a smoker nor a hunter, but your hunting ritual has me curious. I’ve always heard deer have an extremely keen sense of smell....better than dogs, even. Hunters go to great lengths to make themselves scent-free, or go the other direction and squirt doe piss all over themselves. Aren’t you potentially spooking off the deer with the cigars and coffee?

That's the nice thing about smoking cigars and pipes and not being addicted to nicotine, I smoke when I want to, not because I have to.

Cigarettes are disgusting though.

No most of those hunters who go all out with scent control stuff are just retarded. If you hunt with wind in your face you are good. Lighting up a cigar or smoke might be the riskiest part, the sound of striking a lighter. I’ve had deer all over me on public land while smoking. Obviously there is a possibility there are deer I didn’t see that didn’t come out due to the smell but overall hasn’t been a problem. Nowadays I’m done smoking my cigar by the time the sun comes out and in evening time I only dip.

You get nicotine from cigars and pipes just like you do from cigarettes.

I smoked when I was in undergrad and actually much preferred smoking in the winter.

The cold, crisp air made for a much more pleasant environment to smoke in.

Smoking in the dense, humid summer air was terrible.

Former smoker here, and absolutely agree!! Southern winter, but still.

I'll make 7 years on Dec. 1.
