Do you ever wish you could ever go back and redo parts of your life?

For me, there are two:
The night my Grandfather died and very early into my former marriage. I never got the chance to say goodbye to him and that bothers me to this day even after 20+ years. As far as my former marriage goes, given what I know now there would have been some things done differently and we'd still be married.

Some crosses are very hard to bear...

I opened up the OT at 2:49PM on Sept 7, 2016. I clicked on this thread.

Nope, the bad parts lead to experiences that help you make better decisions later.

I wish I could go back and start that squat pot business before that SOB stole my idea and called it "Squatty Potty"

It really is the natural way to shite.

Living in the what-ifs will mess you up. I used to think about if I had done this or that, would it had stopped my ex-wife from doing what she did? I finally came to the realization that I was a damn good husband to her, and I didn't deserve what she did. Make peace with your past, or it will control your future.

I should have accepted the LSU coaching job back in 2005. Instead I accepted a World League coaching job thinking it would take off.

all the time, but its not healthy. of course the things I would like to change, I couldn't. I would really like to go back and save myself as a child from various monsters in my family, but how the frick could I do that?

in all seriousness man we only have a short time here on earth. you have to just accept the things that have happened good and bad. learn from them and move on. dont dwell in the past. it does no good.

I'd honestly redo a lot of decisions about women I wasted time and money on.

If anything I wish I could go back and tell my younger self to not pass up what he'll realize years later would have been some pretty nice pieces of ace instead of wasting time chasing the ones he's never gonna get.

Then I'd tell him to do his damndest to work things out with the Asian Metlife agent. He'll find out what I'm talking about.

There are a couple of things I've said to people that I know hurt them that I'd like to take back. Hard to live those things down.

If you could go back to that point in time, BUT all the relationships you made after that point could/would not happen (children you have now, friends, current spouse), would you do it.

There are points in my life I would like to go back to, but if I did it probably means I'd have different children than I have now. I couldn't imagine that.

love everyone as if they were Jesus.

the cross will seem lighter day by day.

start by forgiving yourself. rinse repeat, probably every day for a year.
