No, people don't portray the truth on social media. Got a buddy who is strongly considering divorce from his wife cause she's a mental wreck but you'd never know it from their happy Facebook posts.

Usually the happier they are on facebook the worse off they really are.
I work with this woman that posts happy stuff constantly, but irl spends a lot of time crying her eyes out
