Recently I stumble onto an old picture. This might've been early to mid 90s. It took me a moment to realize that one of the people in the pic was my dad. Now, my dad is in the last chapter of his life, and the image of my dad is the present one...old. And yet, there he is in the pic, looking like some random guy. He was probably my age(early 40s) in the pic.

The crazy part is that I remember that day. Then I started looking back at all the time and all the events that happened in my life from that day till now and it was like a fricking blur. 30 years in a blink.

Makes me wonder how fast the next 30 years will fly, and my daughter will look at my current pic and say "dad, is that you?". Now, I'm not sad or mad at getting old because if I can't get old, then my kid wouldn't grow up. But it's wild to think about it.

Yesterday I was trying to take some girl dancing at the Bengal home, today I'm wondering what 60 is going to feel like in 3 years.

Time slips past us while we’re completely unaware of just how quickly it happened. Time wasted, lost, underutilized; loved ones missed and heartache can resurface. It’s why we need to live in the present as much as possible. Save some money, enjoy today, love your people hard, and do your best to leave as few regrets behind you when it’s all said and done.

I realized earlier this year the day I was born is closer in time to the Cuban missile crisis than the present. It's wild

I just said this to a buddy the other day. Doesn’t it seem like 1980-2000 lasted forever while 2000-2020 flew by?

Yes. It sucks, but all we can do is embrace the change.

The older you get the faster the time goes. It sucks

It feels like once you get out of college and into the working world it’s all just a blur

Everyone asks themself this question eventually. It's part of growing older. Do NOT ever take time for granted for it is truly here today and gone tomorrow.

How true.
Time is kind of like reading a good book. It starts out rather slow and builds momentum, and it really flies by in the final chapter.

Carpe diem.

ANd when I think of all the time I spent on the internet on website like this, when I could have been at the bar drinking...

I have to say this though.. In my 40's I rode motorcycles all over the country... But not enough.. Now at 58 it's kind of rough to sleep on the ground in a it tent.

But my WWII collection has taken on a life of it's own. Buisness is good and I am working on two projects as we speak. A spice/seasoning I am trying to get marketed and my WWII Screenplay/Script.

And yesterday I uploaded my first ever youtube.. I am starting the WWII letter channel.. Where I read letter from WWII... While it may not seem like much, I am so pleased with these things... And I am ready for retirement.. I will prolly be broke... But retirement sounds good regardless.

And you may ask yourself, "Well, how did I get here?"
