I figured there had to be a reason. If someone cleans a clean car a second time in a day, every day, they need to be institutionalized.

I eat as much in transit as I do stationary.

Only if it's a road trip. I'm not usually in my car long enough to where I have down a sammich.

Are you driving a classic for your daily driver?

I wash my truck probably twice a year 5-6 years a decade.

Yes. I draw the line at gumbo and bbq shrimp, though.

I have a 'classic' daily driver that gets washed maybe once a month. I just don't give much of a frick about having a clean and shiny exterior at all times.

I actually think the way someone treats their car reveals a lot about personality. Same for driving habits.

Man this is the truth.

Just got a new car two weeks ago, and last week it snowed. So now it’s dirty. But honestly there’s not much of a point in washing it until after winter.

Driving me nuts, but it’s just part of it.

Yes that is true. Fortunately no salt on the roads yet this season.

Yep you are right it will just get dirty the second you drive off the car wash lot. Thing that drove me more crazy was the salt and chemicals than anything else.

My car is a tool, not a showpiece. It's not messy, but it's rarely spotless

same here, I'm not a pig, but not OCD about the truck either, except the truck nuts, of course

I pick the trash up but mine is rarely super clean either. I washed my truck for the first time in about a year yesterday. The layer of grime keeps the paint looking new

I drive a nice car that I'd like to keep nice. Kids eating in the car = no longer nice vehicle. ONLY time I allow it is if we're on a really long road trip and it can't be helped. Even then, I'm a bit of a nazi about it.
