Or give or help any other charity for children?
I do donate to St. Judes-my heart aches for those kids
of course I have a four year old son which probably raises my awareness.
(I was a selfish cynical bastard at one point, but not so much these days)

They're awful. Did your company pressure you into doing it ("If we get a 90% participation rate, y'all get to wear jeans on Friday!")?

Haven't yet, but donated mostly to local orgs and my company matches it (when it's >= $50), which is nice.

A couple of co-workers have had house fires and lost everything. The United Way was there the same night giving the family vouchers for lodging, food and clothing all free of charge. They aren't awful where I live.

I'm about to start. One of my co-worker's kids just went there and started treatment.
