Have you ever did a fire drill, middle of the night, meet at the mailbox, etc?

We’ve never done it but we need to do a couple.

When she was about 5, I made sure that my daughter knew how to open the windows, remove the screen and get out if needed.

I think my wife might stab me if I woke her up at 3am for a fire drill

Bought one of those escape ladders to throw out the window. Hoping it will break my fall when I jump.

Yeah, I even have one of those maps hanging in every room that shows you how to get to the front door.

Yes. I just pray S jr can hear the fire alarm through his beats by Dre headset in his upstairs gameroom.

Yes. My wife hates it, but I do one annually. We live on the 16th floor so we need to know what to do.

I want to start drilling us to be ready to leave the apartment in 60 seconds if need be for an emergency (UN blue helmets are coming, criminals in the building, etc)

Usually before meal times. My wife uses smoke detectors for kitchen timers.

We need to.

Built a new house and my 5 year old is upstairs for the first time. Makes me nervous.

Along those lines, who does a drill for restoring your computer from a backup?

Even though many use cloud storage today, some things tend to slip past. And does grandma use cloud storage for her personal photos of the past? Are you sure? Because mine doesn't.

Yes. It's easy to get lost with over 10,000 square feet of living area.

I do.

I do monthly drills on stuff like when to call 911 and how to get out the house and when to run to the neighbors to get help stuff.

The kids are pretty good at recognizing stuff now
