Starts with Halloween for me. I love all of the old, scary movies, costumes, haunted houses, etc.
Thanksgiving is great because we all get together and eat some awesome food. You've got enticing games (Michigan-Ohio State, Auburn-Alabama, etc).
Christmas speaks for itself.
New Years is the one I always dreaded.

Halloween signals that the holidays are not far behind...but Thanksgiving is the first of the holiday season for me.

Went into a Home Depot last weekend and it was full of Christmas decorations and trees. It was depressing.

No, I wait till it gets to thanksgiving. Then it's Christmas. Then everything can frick off till next thanksgiving.

I always thought the holiday season started on Thanksgiving. Halloween is unrelated being that I view it as it's own thing.

I consider Halloween the official start of the holiday season and New Year's Day the end. Everyone should feel this way.
