Do you consider cigarette smokers and cigar smokers one in the same?

Cigar smokers don’t usually smoke as much as cigarette smokers do. It’s more of an elegant stage of being trashy.

Depends on how many cigars are being smoked.

I guess no matter what, I don't consider them the same. Cigars are at least more sophisticated (for the most part) and have nuanced flavors involved. Cigarettes are just disgusting.

But most cigar smokers seem to smoke on more special occasions. You rarely see someone insisting they get a break from work every half hour because they need their cigar.

I smoke cigars. Usually with a bourbon in the evening about 2-3 times per week. I don't walk around smelling like them all day though.

Good thread, was thinking earlier today of taking up cigars or pipe tobacco.

No. I don't smoke cigarettes but will smoke a nice cigar on certain occasions. Plus, you don't really inhale a nice cigar, you taste the smoke in your mouth. I know many others like this too, maybe only a couple smoke cigarettes.

Cigarette smokers are just filthy human beings.

Cigar smokers are attention whores.

The incidence of oral cancers is more than 3 times higher for cigar and pipe smokers than cigarette smokers. 90% of those with oral cancers are tobacco users.
