Keep a Sig .40 in the car. Blade in the pocket at all times. Also keep a set of brass knuckles in car door if sub lethal option is required.
But sadly, I lost all of these items in a boating accident.

Look, I guess we will just have to agree to disagree. Because I simply disagree with everything you are saying. What both you and I are arguing are opinions, they are nowhere near beyond debate obviously

quote:

1)Panicking is ALWAYS the right move in every situation;

Sure, you fall off of your boat, its better to go into a panic attack, go into shock, and drown right? But that maybe a bad comparison. How about you're at a gas station pumping gas, minding your business. You see someone walking your way digging in his pocket. You panic and shoot the guy. Turns out he was unarmed and just looking for his keys while walking back to his car which is behind yours.

quote:

Once a person loses their home they become a blood-thirsty monster that only derives pleasure from causing harm to others

Right sort of like how when you look into a full moon you turn into a werewolf? Or when you bite someone they turn into a zombie?

I don't even have a weapon in my house and often sleep with my front door unlocked as I forget about it. I live in one of the largest cities in America, but I don't go to bad areas at night.

Yep, Glock 27 with a magazine loaded with alternated hollow points and FMJ's. I just started carrying concealed a few months ago. Was uncomfortable at first but now I literally carry everywhere, with the obvious exceptions.

I've had the business end of a hose-pipe in the truck for years.

Times change, and Mr. hose-pipe has had company for the past several years.

When I solo hike or am in bear country. I have a handgun in my glove compartment, but usually don't carry it on me regularly.

I make it a point not to go into the hood. Period. Especially not without a full tank of gas. Please.

357 mag in the car at all times.

I very rarely carry it on me unless I'm hiking, camping, or hunting.
