Do you carry a key to your house?

I don’t. My car doesn’t need a key and has the garage codes programmed.
As a fall back, the garage door and exterior doors have Bluetooth or button codes.
My old arse neighbor does hold a physical key to our house for dog sitting.

Only my phone, if that’s dead it’s a credit card you carry.

Yes. I don’t have my assets tied into the government for control.
Posted on 2/21/24 at 3:08 pm to Wildcat98USA
Yes but I have used it maybe 5 times in 10 years

You don't sound super sharp. And no, I'm not gonna waste my time explaining it because I'm 100% sure you'll simply continue being dumb.

Your "old arse neighbor" smells your wife's panties when you are gone

I do because my old school door is 2 1/2” thick and it won’t accept any key pad.

These are not nearly as secure as you think them to be. NFC fields can be replicated by devices like a flipper zero to get access to all sorts of things.

House is unlocked.
Couldn't tell you where a key is.
Gun room is locked.
Key is 9 of my 10 fingers.

Y'all will wish you had a key after the EMP fries everything.

When building new homes, we typically install a lot this type tech. While I contract the install out, I know a lot about it, how to program it, whats required to maintain it, and have the latest and greatest smart devices through out my own home, many of which are linked to my phone and in some cases, my vehicle(s). I love them. Especially when they work.
That said, only a moron would implicitly trust wireless electronic devices as the sole means for gaining access/protecting access to your home.
