My wife will read some threads that I show her that I think she will like. I’m not sure she knows my poster name. She’s not from La, and doesn’t have any friends (that aren’t mine from LSU). She is mildly amused by TD. She thinks most posters are immature drunk pedophiles, but in a mostly harmless way.
I’m pretty sure everyone of my friends from Louisiana knows about TD, most of them read and post on here. When I meet people from Louisiana TD often comes up.
There’s a few phrases terms that I can throw out to see if people read TD. There’s a recognizable language.

I’ll throw some other boards out there as suggestions to friends. For instance if I see a good post on the travel board about Boston and then a friend says they are traveling there I’ll recommend they look it up.

Most of my friends left Louisiana like I did after college. TigerDroppings is the best way to keep up with what's going on with LSU, and the SEC. My friends all know about it, and quite a few post. A few old co-workers, with no connection to LSU, used to read it. Most know who I am, including my 85 year old dad.
This board, The TV/Movie board and the Outdoor board are the only ones I ever look at anymore.
