I have a buddy who shares one with his wife and he's always posting offensive comments on people's posts and if they get pissed he blames it on her.
I don't have Facebook, so I used my little sister's a while back to say hey to a buddy I hadn't seen in years. I said, "Hey, what's up f@gg*t?". Turns out the dude became gay over that time period and started cursing out my sister for it

My SO has some fundamentalist friends that do this. Only time I've seen it. Married couples though. I was like, "wait, you know someone name Sophie Michael blank or Caroline John blank?"

Show me a couple with a joint Facebook, and I'll show you a dude that got busted cheating.

I always assume she keeps his testicles in a dirty mason jar by the bed and makes him look at them ("LOOK AT THEM!!!"), before she allows him to go to bed. Mother, may I?

You don't need it as a couple but probably does scare off the sleazeballs who would otherwise chat up your SO.
I have my marital status listed as widowed.
No one bothers me.
Guess they don't want to ask questions about my dearly departed imaginary husband.

No. She's not even a friend of mine in Facebook.

I assume couples who do that are on the verge of divorce, or that one spouse cheated, thus losing the "privilege" of a private account. The ones who post the most lovey dovey shite on Facebook tend to be the ones who actually fight constantly.

This exactly. I can think of 4 couples I know that share accounts.
For one, the couple has been together since they were like 15 and are EXTREMELY codependent.
Another, I don't know them well, but they've always seemed odd.
The other two I know for an absolute fact that one person cheated. With one, it was the wife, with the other, it was the husband-- and he was cheating WITH the current wife on his former wife.

Hell no we don't share a FB account. It's never even been discussed

Whenever I see a joint account I just assume someone cheated.

Most of my friends who are married with kids have deleted their accounts. Their wives post all kind of baby and family stuff on their accounts, and whenever my buddies get on from time to time they just hers.
I think I'd probably do something like this. I do think there's something to be said for removing temptation, and Idk wtf I would need Facebook after I was married anyways. It could only get me in trouble.
Hell my parents share an email account ha.
