Do you really need to ask that question?

I don't think so.
My beautiful wife has several close, sweet friends, but she's a genuinely kind, sweet person.
I have known women that couldn't get along with other women, and even though they were attractive, they were insecure.
Hint: the more pics they post of themselves on social media, the more insecure they are.

Yes, it's just part of them.
Working in an office full of women is nothing but drama. They all like to talk to me about each other.

Women, by nature, are exhibitionists that are vying for the best male to sire their children. It is natural in the animal kingdom without them realizing it in order to continue to improve the herd.
You didn't ask about men but we have our own peculiarities that are to that same end. "Hold my beer and watch this" is just a small part of it.
It's not working very well. Look how stupid we still are.

Maybe some women but not all or even most.

They conceptually view all other women as threats.

When we evolved, men would do battle physically and briefly. The male who lost the battle for dominance in the hierarchy would be forced to be subservient otherwise he may be killed or ostracized (which would also likely lead to death or at least the inability to procreate). The alpha wouldn’t usually kill the male who lost the battle bc he needs subservient males to help with hunting and may lose the trust of the larger group if he seems to vicious.
Women do battle emotionally and over longer periods of time. Their goal is to mate with dominant males and to provide the most they can for the children. These require long, drawn-out, and intricate battles against the other females. As others have said, this tends to abate as the females get older.
This is why men prefer watching sports (especially violent ones) and women watch the Real Housewives of the O.C. Both depict battles—one is physical, the other is emotional.

Yes. Insane jealousy and constant talking behind each other’s backs.

My wife and my little sister have been best friends since they were running around in pampers, maybe that’s more the exception than the rule.

Every married man has the experience of his wife talking about how terrible her friends are. If a guy felt that way about somebody they wouldn't be friends at all.

You're succumbing to the stereotyping/bucketing of people at your own risk / loss.

Absolutely, 100%. And it starts when they're pre-k age. Best friends one week, not speaking the next. That never changes throughout life, it just gets more sinister.

You need to watch more movies.

No one hates women more than other women.

So yes, that is truly exceptional.
Congrats.

As that great American philosopher, Al Bundy, once said:

Yeah it seems like they will just stop talking to eat other because of some petty shite, too. Me and one of my best friends (was also a roommate at the time) beat the shite out of each other one night and the next morning were playing xbox together like nothing had happened. Our girlfriends woke up and were confused as to why we were still talking to each other. They thought for sure one of us would be moving out.

Agree! I have a couple women outside of my family who I can rely on for help or advice. I’d trust them with my child. I wouldn’t consider them my best friends bc we are grown and married and generally don’t have the time or immaturity for bestie type behaviors. I get along well and I think I am well liked in peer groups. However, I agree that women are bitches and I have no desire to make or become closer with really any other women. I did grow up as more of a Tom boy and get along well with men, but don’t have any guy relationships outside of my spouse/family members.

"they can be a bit of a bitch sometimes”
the women saying this aren't wrong
