For some dudes in here, they're basically admitting they have no concept of a FWB that involves very little "dating" and talking and mostly just sex. You and others seem to think that simply never happens, and the only logical conclusion I can take from that is that it never happens to you, because what other reason could there be?

Outside of Tinder, POF, Bumble, etc you are going to have to take the girl out and unless you set up a regular thing. Just dinner and drinks will set you back 100 and no guarantee of sex.
He has a guaranteed thing going for him from someone who leaves when he wants. Financially he is probably spending a bit more than just going out once a week but still

For the record, if the arrangement works for the OP, good for him. That's not the issue. The issue is many on this board are insinuating there's quite literally no other way to have sex with girls without spending 13% of your income on them, and that's pretty obviously incorrect. It's not even close.

Very few guys in their 30s will have a FWB that will cost nothing and stick to just sex for anything longer than a few weeks, if that, before it starts to turn into something else or she pushes for something else. This will be especially true if the girl is in her 30s or older.

Yes, anyone can go to a bar/club, get on Tinder and bang women. The problem occurs when like myself, you’re 50 years old and want to bang 19/20yo smoke shows. At 50yo you’re not going to a club and pull hot 19yo pussy. This is where the sugar baby arrangement comes in.
