Do you think it is easier to get away with murder or to catch and convict a murderer? I'll give you a hint, the less established the relationship between the victim and the offender the easier the former becomes.

It's hard to solve a murder, when the people who actually witnessed, some being as close to 3 feet from it, refuse to talk.

Go watch the Amanda Knox doc on Netflix and you'll see just how good the American criminal justice system is compared to other "developed" nations. We're not perfect but we're better than most.

Who is Dexter Morgan?
What about Danny Heinrich? The guy who's the face behind the entire podcast I'm talking about. He was questioned many times, brought in about his involvement with killing Jacob Wetterling (an 11 year old), had the color car described in multiple other cases, had the same build and lived 2 towns over. Did the solve it? No. He confessed 27 years later. For 27 years his family lived in agony wondering where their kid/nephew/grandkid was because of shitty detective work.

Have you listened to the facts presented? There were dozens and dozens of other facts that linked him to it, and to prior incidences that almost resulted in this exact same thing. He walked because of shitty detective work.

If I shot and killed someone and there were no witnesses, I feel as though I would have to to really frick up to get caught. Especially if I had a dirty gun.

The local sheriff's department(s) did an absolute dog shite job. They basically ruined an innocent person's life and the murder lead to a bunch federal overreach in doubling down on sex offender laws.

Apparently the Italians just put all their unsealed evidence in one big pile and start running DNA tests.

9 times out of 10 a murder is solved because someone spilled the beans to the popo. If you want to get away with murder, it's very simple. Do it all by yourself...no accomplices and never ever speak about it to anyone.

Italy is a 3 world shithole with history and a good location. Their Government is corrupt as you can get.
