I sleep with a combination noise maker / bed shaker / sandwich maker.

Yes. I use an Alexa speaker and usually play something rain or thuderstorm.

Stayed in Pentagon dorms at LSU with no AC and became addicted to the box fans.

Eventually switched to Dohm sound machine. Can’t sleep in silence or every dog paw tap or kid cough will wake me up.

I fall asleep to Forensic Files because wife is one of those psychos. Don’t worry she’s not in the will. Just in case she gets any ideas

If multiple fans being on and one of which is one of those metal loud arse floor fans then yeah.

I sleep quite well cause of that fan and it makes the room quite chilly

If you are a light sleeper, try sleeping with earplugs. Superior to noise machine for not waking up to small noises. Not as helpful for falling asleep if that’s the problem.

Yes. Started using a small air purifier on our nightstand about 25 years ago.
Can’t sleep without it now.
